It’s fun to watch your cat play with catnip toys. Catnip is made of natural herbs, so it will not be harmful to your feline friend. Catnip toys are made in the likeness of mice, rats, birds, insects, types of animals your cat is naturally drawn to, predatory-wise. Some are shaped like balls and little pillows or cushions. I suggest that you when you purchase these toys to make sure that the herbs inside are true catnip. Some products are sold as being catnip but afterwards you find out that it’s just a pouch of dried mint or rosemary of something like that.
