The adult version of the Little Mermaid costume is pretty much just like the one you would see on a little girl, except the outfit has been fitted for a more developed woman. You still get everything you need to look like Ariel, including a fitted gown with a shimmer stretch corset top, a sequin shirt with ruffled organza fin, and the more important sequin starfish headpiece. What you may have to buy yourself, depending on the costume manufacturer is a long Red wig to make the transformation complete.
