One of the greatest space-saving pieces of furniture ever invented is the loft bed that features a desk underneath. To save even more room, some models have steps that serve double-duty as drawers. The idea may have come from bunk beds, but instead of another bed, a desk is incorporated under the top bunk. These types of beds are appealing to kids, and it’s easy to see why: they are just plain fun. But they are not just reserved for children – adults can use them too.
