When thinking about buying a desktop humidor for your cigar collection, there are a few things to consider first. A humidor, desktop or otherwise, must be able to absorb humidity well, which can be most effectively done by using a Spanish cedar lining. The humidity level of a good humidor must be maintained at about 70%. The outer case should be well sealed and free from imperfections or damage allowing the humidor to close tightly with no humidity escaping from the inside of the box.
