If you get a hamper that hangs in the closet, make sure it is sturdy. It has to withstand the weight of a bunch of laundry. Having a hamper out of sight in the closet makes a lot of sense, since hampers – unless you go with more expensive, furniture-type models – are not the nicest thing to look at, and take up floor space. However, make sure you do your laundry often, because stinky closes sitting in a hamper will make the whole closet smell.
